Of Mother's Day and Tulips

Today (Sunday) is Mother's Day, of course. I started the day off right with breakfast at the Free School Cafe, courtesy of Dru and the second/third grade. He doesn't always look like a troll (his mother's words), only in photos.
Today is also the 59th annual Albany Tulip Festival. My son-in-law's mother is the city gardener and, as usual, she's done a fabulous job, wouldn't you say?
